The work Blitz (Clear) by Kaws was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year. The result of SEK 8,000.00 (€ 707.25) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Blitz (Clear) von Kaws kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 8.000,00 (€ 707,25) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
