The work Two siblings (Marianne and Gunvor Bigner) by Lotte Laserstein was worth SEK 440,000.00 (€ 37,912.52) to a buyer in May this year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art + Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of SEK 80,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lotte Laserstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German abend Über Potsdam (Evening Over Potsdam) in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 421,250.00 (€ 512,279.21).

Die Arbeit Two siblings (Marianne and Gunvor Bigner) von Lotte Laserstein war einem Käufer im Mai diesen Jahres SEK 440.000,00 (€ 37.912,52) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lotte Laserstein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German abend Über Potsdam (Evening Over Potsdam) im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 421.250,00 (€ 512.279,21).
