It achieved a price of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,324.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miquel Barceló achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Faena De Muleta in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 3,961,250.00 (€ 4,382,386.82).

Die Arbeit Nature morte avec guayabe (Still Life with Guava) von Miquel Barceló kam im Februar 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 60.324,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miquel Barceló erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Faena De Muleta im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.961.250,00 (€ 4.382.386,82).
