Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Creole) by Nicholas Byrne was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in September 2011. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,788.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nicholas Byrne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Accent Support, which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,056.82).
