Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Zerschossenes Gehöft - Haus in B. by Otto Dix. The price achieved of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 58,550.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Dix achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sitzender Akt Mit Blondem Haar (Seated Nude With Blond Hair) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 3,513,250.00 (€ 4,350,239.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zerschossenes Gehöft - Haus in B. von Otto Dix zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.400,00 (€ 58.550,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Dix erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sitzender Akt Mit Blondem Haar (Seated Nude With Blond Hair) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.513.250,00 (€ 4.350.239,94).
