The »bidding war« ended at USD 209,000.00 (€ 166,799.68), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Guiragossian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Lutte De L'Existence, which sold at auction in October 2013 for USD 605,000.00 (€ 445,049.29).

Die Arbeit L'Exode (The Exodus) von Paul Guiragossian wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Arab, Iranian & Turkish Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 166.799,68) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Guiragossian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Lutte De L'Existence beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für USD 605.000,00 (€ 445.049,29) versteigert wurde.
