Auction result well in line with expectations
The work untitled: folded by Phyllida Barlow was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,541.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Phyllida Barlow - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse, which sold at auction in December last year for USD 30,240.00 (€ 28,266.97).

Die Arbeit untitled: folded von Phyllida Barlow kam im April 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.541,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Phyllida Barlow mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit untitled: hiddenupturnedhouse beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für USD 30.240,00 (€ 28.266,97) versteigert wurde.
