This artwork by Robert Rauschenberg achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November last year. In the A Graphic Century including French Impressions: Prints from Ambroise Vollard and Henri M. Petiet auction, the work CORE Poster sold for USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,929.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Rauschenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buffalo Ii in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 88,805,000.00 (€ 79,652,883.67).
