Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Serge Poliakoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Brussels in June this year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Composition noire, jaune, bleue et rouge sold for EUR 3,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Poliakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge bleu jaune in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 7,560,000.00 (€ 947,114.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Serge Poliakoff erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Brüssel einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wurde die Arbeit Composition noire, jaune, bleue et rouge für EUR 3.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Poliakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge bleu jaune im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.560.000,00 (€ 947.114,09).
