Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Prenez Soin De Vous. Officier Traitant De La Dgse, Louise (Take Care Of Yourself. French Intelligence Officer, Louise) by Sophie Calle was sold in the Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,281.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Sophie Calle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Sleepers (Les dormeurs) in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 218,500.00 (€ 162,417.30).

French Intelligence Officer, Louise) von Sophie Calle wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
