The work "Nachtphoto", 1993 by Thomas Ruff was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year. It achieved a price of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,298.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Ruff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jpeg pt01 in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 230,864.55).

Die Arbeit "Nachtphoto", 1993 von Thomas Ruff wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.298,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Ruff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jpeg pt01 im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 230.864,55).
