Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Sterne 08H24M/-35°" by Thomas Ruff for SEK 13,000.00 (€ 1,149.28). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Ruff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jpeg pt01 in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 230,864.55).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Sterne 08H24M/-35°" von Thomas Ruff für SEK 13.000,00 (€ 1.149,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Ruff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jpeg pt01 im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 230.864,55).
