Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vb 34 (Royal Opening, Moderna Museet, Stockholm) by Vanessa Beecroft was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2005. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,104.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vanessa Beecroft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vb 34 (Royal Opening, Moderna Museet, Stockholm) von Vanessa Beecroft kam im April 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.104,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft erzielen.
