Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,345.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Greengrass - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The King'S Horses, which sold at auction in December 2014 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,241.24).
