Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aggression by Xiao Bo was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in February 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,627.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Xiao Bo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Study Room was auctioned for USD 23,750.00 (€ 16,169.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aggression von Xiao Bo wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.627,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Xiao Bo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Study Room für USD 23.750,00 (€ 16.169,66) versteigert.
