Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chaise et guéridon by Alberto Giacometti was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. The price achieved of USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,758.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Giacometti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'homme au doigt in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 141,285,000.00 (€ 128,511,006.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chaise et guéridon von Alberto Giacometti kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.920,00 (€ 1.758,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Giacometti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'homme au doigt im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 141.285.000,00 (€ 128.511.006,00).
