In the First Open | Online auction, the work Violin Service (Violon Menagère) sold for USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,948.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accord Majeur, 1962 in January 2008 with an auction result of EUR 371,760.00.

In der Auktion First Open | Online wurde die Arbeit Violin Service (Violon Menagère) für USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.948,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accord Majeur, 1962 im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 371.760,00.
