Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Berthe Morisot dessinat, avec sa fille (Berthe Morisot drawing, with her daughter) by Berthe Morisot for USD 128 (€ 113). This price was achieved in the auction Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 500 – 700 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berthe Morisot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme et enfant au balcon in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,085,000 (€ 4,780,966).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Berthe Morisot dessinat, avec sa fille (Berthe Morisot drawing, with her daughter) von Berthe Morisot für USD 128 (€ 113) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500 – 700. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Berthe Morisot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme et enfant au balcon im Februar 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.085.000 (€ 4.780.966).
