Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cold Mountain Series, Zen Studies, 6 by Brice Marden was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in New York in April this year. The price achieved of USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,065.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brice Marden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 11 (to Léger) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,999,000.00 (€ 15,060,689.29).
