Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Plate 14, from Etchings to Rexroth by Brice Marden. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,637.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brice Marden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 11 (to Léger) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,999,000.00 (€ 15,060,689.29).
