Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plate 23, from Etchings to Rexroth by Brice Marden was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,637.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brice Marden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 11 (to Léger) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,999,000.00 (€ 15,060,689.29).
