Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lola Et L'Enfant Au Chien Pitou, Valflor by Charles Camoin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,374.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles Camoin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Port De Cassis, 1904-1905 in May 2011 with an auction result of EUR 266,966.00.

Die Arbeit Lola Et L'Enfant Au Chien Pitou, Valflor von Charles Camoin kam im Februar 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.374,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles Camoin erzielen.
