This work without title by Charles White was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Christies in New York in July 2020. The auction ended at the price of USD 20,000.00 (€ 16,986.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles White achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ye Shall Inherit The Earth in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,760,000.00 (€ 1,597,241.13).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Charles White wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.986,58) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Charles White erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ye Shall Inherit The Earth im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.760.000,00 (€ 1.597.241,13).
