Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tetrahydrocannabinol by Damien Hirst was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in New York in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 63,000.00 (€ 57,065.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
