In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Life is Fantastic sold for USD 8,820.00 (€ 8,319.19) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Shrigley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (It's OK) in March last year with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,754.80).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Shrigley erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Life is Fantastic für USD 8.820,00 (€ 8.319,19) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Shrigley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (It's OK) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.754,80).
