In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Edgar Allen Poe, Le Corbeau, R. Lesclide, Paris, 1875. by Édouard Manet. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,171.80), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Manet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Canal à Venise in November last year with an auction result of USD 51,915,000.00 (€ 50,290,613.19).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Edgar Allen Poe, Le Corbeau, R. Lesclide, Paris, 1875. von Édouard Manet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.171,80) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Édouard Manet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Canal à Venise im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 51.915.000,00 (€ 50.290.613,19).
