Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pittsburgh I; and Pittsburgh II by Eduardo Chillida was sold in the Important Prints & Multiples: Part II auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,292.00 (€ 4,581.02). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo Chillida achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rumor de Limites No. Vi in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,024,000.00 (€ 2,928,694.26).
