Auction result well in line with expectations
The work KKJ-27 by Frank Nitsche was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2012. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,910.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frank Nitsche - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work OGY-12-2004, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 28,800.00 (€ 43,029.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit KKJ-27 von Frank Nitsche kam im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.910,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Frank Nitsche mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit OGY-12-2004 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 28.800,00 (€ 43.029,77) versteigert wurde.
