Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beg-73-2003 by Frank Nitsche was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,646.40) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frank Nitsche have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work OGY-12-2004 in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 43,029.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beg-73-2003 von Frank Nitsche wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.646,40) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frank Nitsche auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit OGY-12-2004 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 43.029,77).
