Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henry Moore could be acquired at Christies in New York in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Two prints by the artist changed hands for USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,711.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Moore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Figure: Festival in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 24,722,500.00 (€ 29,675,067.53).
