This artwork by Hunt Slonem achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in December 2019. In the First Open | Online auction, the work Storks Bombay sold for USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,010.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hunt Slonem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picul 131 in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,721.61).

In der Auktion First Open | Online wurde die Arbeit Storks Bombay für USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.010,24) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hunt Slonem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picul 131 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 32.721,61).
