Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tombeaux by Jan Vercruysse was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2005. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,880.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Vercruysse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Atopie Iii, In 3 Parts, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 34,000.00 (€ 21,839.67).
