Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dewy by Lisa Yuskavage was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 21,011.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lisa Yuskavage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Studio in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,380,000.00 (€ 1,285,993.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dewy von Lisa Yuskavage kam im November 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 21.011,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lisa Yuskavage erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Studio im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.380.000,00 (€ 1.285.993,85).
