The work "Fallen woman" by Louise Bourgeois was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in April this year. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 3,536.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Bourgeois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spider in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 32,055,000.00 (€ 28,751,457.53).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Fallen woman" von Louise Bourgeois kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 40.000,00 (€ 3.536,23) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louise Bourgeois erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spider im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.055.000,00 (€ 28.751.457,53).
