Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rose Nether Poetry by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 352,800.00 (€ 304,742.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Highpower in October last year with an auction result of GBP 1,482,000.00 (€ 1,726,513.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 352.800,00 (€ 304.742,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lynette Yiadom-Boakye auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Highpower im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.482.000,00 (€ 1.726.513,59).
