Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Oliver Laric could be acquired at Sothebys in London in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Schengen Visa Hologram changed hands for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,962.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Oliver Laric - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ise Guilloche, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,966.66).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Oliver Laric konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wechselte die Arbeit Schengen Visa Hologram für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.962,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Oliver Laric mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ise Guilloche beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.966,66) versteigert wurde.
