This artwork by Paul Landacre achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June this year. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Amateurs sold for USD 4,480.00 (€ 4,102.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Landacre have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Press in August this year with an auction result of USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,249.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Landacre erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit Amateurs für USD 4.480,00 (€ 4.102,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Landacre auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Press im August diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.249,38).
