Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Model On Luna Park Lion by Philip Pearlstein for USD 318.75 (€ 292.30). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples Online Sale at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Pearlstein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Model With Empire State Building in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 130,791.65).
