Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2021 Christies held the auction A Graphic Dialogue: Prints from the Collection of Lois B. Torf, which included the work In Horne'S House by Richard Hamilton. The price achieved of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,779.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Hamilton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Epiphany in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 557,000.00 (€ 768,020.27).
