Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Anne by Robert Longo. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 30,240.00 (€ 30,240.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Longo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Leo) in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,212,657.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anne von Robert Longo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 30.240,00 (€ 30.240,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Longo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Leo) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.575.000,00 (€ 1.212.657,84).
