Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Shafic Abboud was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,008.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shafic Abboud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Villa des Iris in November this year with an auction result of GBP 381,400.00 (€ 441,959.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shafic Abboud wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.008,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shafic Abboud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Villa des Iris im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 381.400,00 (€ 441.959,66).
