Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers In Heaven by Takashi Murakami was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2013. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,503.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takashi Murakami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Lonesome Cowboy in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,161,000.00 (€ 9,743,573.26).

Die Arbeit Flowers In Heaven von Takashi Murakami kam im Dezember 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.503,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takashi Murakami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Lonesome Cowboy im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.161.000,00 (€ 9.743.573,26).
