Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Future History" T-Shirt (Off-White X Takashi Murakami) by Takashi Murakami was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2018. The price achieved of GBP 438.00 (€ 491.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takashi Murakami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Lonesome Cowboy in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,161,000.00 (€ 9,743,573.26).
