Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 2,432.00 (€ 2,227.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Hart Benton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nashaquitsa in November last year with an auction result of USD 5,580,000.00 (€ 5,405,405.41).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.432,00 (€ 2.227,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Hart Benton erzielen.
