Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Lator; Rivotril; Test Tarka 3 by Victor Vasarely. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,792.00 (€ 1,641.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
