In the Prints & Multiples – Old Master, Modern & Contemporary auction, the work A Group Of Muffs (Pennington 1951) sold for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,194.73) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wenceslaus Hollar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Old St. Paul'S Cathedral, London, Seen From The East in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 75,650.00 (€ 90,960.60).

In der Auktion Prints & Multiples – Old Master, Modern & Contemporary wurde die Arbeit A Group Of Muffs (Pennington 1951) für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.194,73) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wenceslaus Hollar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Old St. Paul'S Cathedral, London, Seen From The East im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.650,00 (€ 90.960,60).
