Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wolf Kahn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in February this year. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Twin Barns sold for USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,565.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wolf Kahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Atlantic Highlands in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 188,269.69).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wolf Kahn erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Twin Barns für USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.565,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wolf Kahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Atlantic Highlands im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 188.269,69).
