Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Paysage du Var by Yvonne Canu for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,565.52). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yvonne Canu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crépuscule sur Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 118,600.00 (€ 78,093.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paysage du Var von Yvonne Canu für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.565,52) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yvonne Canu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crépuscule sur Paris im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.600,00 (€ 78.093,11).
