This work without title by Afro was sold in the Modern | Post War | Contemporary auction at VAN HAM in November 2018. Here, the estimate of EUR 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 4,515.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Afro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Porta Portese in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Afro wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Modern | Post War | Contemporary bei VAN HAM versteigert. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 4.515,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Afro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Porta Portese im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18).
