The work Rosso Col Bianco by Afro was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 187,500.00 (€ 211,906.95), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Afro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Porta Portese, which sold at auction in November 2012 for USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).

Die Arbeit Rosso Col Bianco von Afro wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 187.500,00 (€ 211.906,95) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Afro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Porta Portese beobachtet, die im November 2012 für USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18) versteigert wurde.
